3-step Action Plan
Preparation
- Set up Customer-Attracting
Profiles on Twitter, Facebook and
YouTube
- Create an incentivized Fan
Page, to increase your conversion rate
- Build a WordPress blog to be
the hub for everything
Action Steps
- Post
a content-rich video on YouTube that sends your
visitors to another video posted on Facebook
- The video
on Facebook should also be content-rich, but
should make a small offer, that they have to claim by visiting your
blog, or coming into your store, or calling you on the phone.
- Sit
back and enjoy the results!
Bonus
steps to repeat the process & increase results
- Create regular content
that
provides value to your customers - re-purpose it across multiple media
to slash the time it takes!
- Find where your best
customers
are hanging out and have conversations there - soon they'll start
spreading the word in these places FOR you!

Mind Map
Explanation
WordPress
- Install
a blog on WordPress.org, using a domain of your
choice.
- Create
blog posts that provide lots of value to your
readers, and that position you as an expert (not a salesperson!)
- Embed
your YouTube videos in your posts to create variety.
- Automatically
feed your blog posts out to Facebook and your
Fan Page using NetworkedBlogs (you can also set NetworkedBlogs to allow
you to manually feed your posts to Facebook).
- Automatically
feed your blog posts to Twitter with
TwitterFeed.
- Automatically
feed your blog posts to your blog subscribers
using RSS.
- Automatically
feed your blog posts to your email subscribers
using Blog Broadcast.
Facebook
& Twitter
- Set
up Customer-Attracting profiles.
- Share
content regularly that your friends & followers
will love - and that makes you seem both knowledgeable and helpful.
- Share
some
of your tweets on Facebook (and your Fan Page) using a Facebook
application called Selective Tweets.
Facebook Fan Page
- Make
sure your welcome page for new fans is incentivized -
it gives them a reason to become a fan.
- Send
your Fan Page posts out to Twitter automatically
(unfortunately you can't do this with your personal page posts)
- Provide
interesting, engaging content - maybe stuff that
your fans can only
find on your Fan Page!
YouTube
- Create
a YouTube channel that's branded to match your
Twitter background and your Fan Page.
- Make
sure your videos have titles, descriptions and keywords
designed for maximum search engine exposure.
- Ninja
Tip: The link that you're sending people to in the
video should be the first word of the description (including http://)
- Share
your YouTube videos manually
- there are
applications to automate this, but the results are better by hand.
